My experience was much better this time than my previous one, where a rag was left in my muffler after maintenance was completed at the Yorkdale location.Chelvin from the Service department at the Yorkdale location is wonderful. Very professional and knowledgeable.I am giving this 3 not 5 stars because I find offensive that the dealership will wash a Lincoln vehicle after maintenance is completed, but not a Ford. You are out of the same building. The same dealership. You make it look like Ford is for lower class people or something. Doesn't make a Ford customer feel like purchasing another Ford vehicle, ever again.

I waited four months to write this review just to see if I get the same quality of service and attention that one gets while buying a new vehicle.I went in for my oil change and their attitude was professional and impeccable. The oil change happened with clockwork precision. Sandeep and Ravi are great sales guys, very knowledgable and patient. They helped us pick the best vehicle and we love it. They took care of everything - the paper work and trading off my old vehicles and I did not have to worry about anything as I was in good hands. The only drawback was that their administrative process took too long and the delivery was delayed by more than a week and I had to talk to other dealerships as well. However it got done eventually.

Get to the point right away after a short greeting so we can both get on with our lives please?Stop it with the Hello... Are you... I'm whoever from yorkdale Ford... I see you have a... And THEN do they get to the point of trying to drum up sales. It's annoying to say the least. Made me feel kind of silly thinking it might be a call regarding a vehicle recall, or anything important for that matter.Oh, and for the last time, Ford stopped making hot hatches, the kind of car I bought. Nothing in the current Ford catalog is an "upgrade". I AM NOT INTERESTED. I wasn't a year ago, or the year before that and I sure as heck am not today. I don't want an eco whatever, I'm not interested in a mustang, nor do I want an SUV.

Update: The manager Contacted me and offered to fix the scratches, it was nice of him to do so, definitely makes up for some the headache I had to go through :) As a result, I changed my review to 4 stars instead of 1. But since just less than a year is left on my lease, I'll just return the car with scratches and let them worry about it.I factory ordered a Mustang and they totally messed up the order. Gave me a car that doesn't have the options I paid for, and still tried to charge me for the options they forgot to put on it. After I mentioned that its not fair to charge me for options that the car doesn't have they reduced the price, but I still ended up with a car that wasn't what I ordered (and I waited for more than two months for that)IF YOU'RE BUYING from them, you should know their Vehicle protection insurance (Vehicle armor is what they call it) is unreliable at best. don't waste your money. I've been trying to fix a couple of scratches for nearly half a year (No exaggeration) and they keep ignoring it, even though I paid extra for this protection to have my car fixed during the lease term and not just at the end. for full details you can read below:1st attempt: Manager Nick took pictures of the scratches with his phone, told me he has to file a claim and get back to me . 1 month after I dont hear anything so I email him and he doesn't respond. So I email the salesman that sold me the car and he replies once and doesn't reply anymore. I go to ford and they tell me Nick and Greg (the salesman) are not with them anymore. So I need to file another claim with the new manager.2nd attempt: I filed a new claim with the new manager Sandra, she takes pictures again and tells me she will get back to me. after a month I don't hear anything back and I go and see Sandra, she tells me she has no updates and she'll get back to me as soon as she does. another month goes by and no news, so I go into ford today and they tell me Sandra is not with them anymore.at this point Im wondering how many claims do I have to file with new managers until they fix a couple of scratches. I share this thought with the sales manager Ali (he is generally friendly when everything is going perfect, but not when you have an issue with something). He gets all defensive, saying we are doing what we need to do and we can't call our customers and ask for their permission to change managers (even though my concern was my continuously ignored claim, not how many managers they change every couple of months! they just find it impossible to wait until you finish your sentence before they reply).so anyways, Ali took my info AGAIN, saying he will get back to me. at this point I don't care anymore, what I know is that when my lease is over, Im getting my new car from somewhere else, and will laugh at their attempts if they try to charge me over scratches and imperfections they find on the car. My other goal is to leave this review (and the upcoming updates) everywhere I can so hopefully less people waste their money on imaginary protection programs.

I had a terrible service when I arrived, one of the sellers received me, seeing me descriptively from head to toe, I was dirty because I had just left work (construction) and I wanted to know the details of one of the vans they offer since I needed to expand my work needs, but as soon as they attended me, everything was in bad taste and without doing any sales work, it seemed like I was taking away their time, I recommend that you work more on customer service and that you do not judge people by their appearance, remember that it is a Ford agency not a Ferrari agency

Max took care of everything, the quote provided was dead on down to the last dollar. Paperwork was completed and ready to sign without delay. The vehicle was absolutely spotless at the time of delivery. The only minor delay was getting my plates transferred and licensed. Poor workmanship by one of the mechanics fixing the clutch/transmission during a transmission recall. Caused a slow leak of the front axle seal of my fiesta, and they refuse to acknowledge it could have even been their work. They hide behind the fact that you won't take your car home and inspect their work yourself, or have an independent mechanic inspect it. You can't inspect for a slow leak until it's too late, and you're the only ones who touched this car! Well, no longer!

The service department staff are extremely rude. I ordered a part via phone and the next morning the parts dept called me back to let me know it was ready for pickup. I showed up and read the sign on the door to call and the parts would be brought out. I called and called and no one answered the phone. So I went inside. I was met with hostility from the two service advisors saying, “you obviously didn’t read the sign, call the number and your parts will be brought out.” I was so taken back by their attitude so I went outside and called again. This time the phone was answered by a parts person. He brought the parts out and was very polite. He then proceeded to tell me I had to go back inside to pay. I told him I was very rudely told to wait outside, so what was the point of that if I had to come back inside to pay. He said “sorry I just work here, but your right it doesn’t make sense”. I then went inside to pay and was met with even more attitude. The female at the cash desk, didn’t say hello or even look up at me. I handed her the parts form I was given, she responded with, “$27.18”. I asked her what the point of waiting outside was only to be brought back in to pay. She shrugged her shoulders and said, “don’t know” again not even looking up. My family has dealt with Ford and Ford dealers for close to 50 years, never have I ever heard or experienced such utter disrespect to a paying customer at any other location. When I called and asked to speak to a manager after leaving, the female answering the phone sighed and said, “ok hold on”. And I was transferred right to a voicemail, not even to an extension that would ring and give the manager a chance to answer the phone and speak to me. Absolutely disgusting service, and the owners and senior management should be absolutely ashamed of their staff. After reading the other reviews, which I hadn’t until after leaving the location, I am not at all shocked, it seems to be the culture at this location. I had planned on buying my next Ford in a few months from this location, but they have just lost my cash sale.

Poor after sales support.Tried to get my new MKC in for its first service. I understand the limitations of available services due to COVID-19, and am okay with that.Obviously normal staff are not manning the phones. If you are going to have someone talking to customer, they need to be well trained. I should not have had to escalate to a manager.The service manager was not very helpful either, yes his hands were tied because lack of staff, again understandable, but I wasn't expecting him to make excuses for the person on the phone. I would have expected a more professional response. My experience with my 1st Lincoln since I have had it off the lot has been less than stellar, the vehicle seems okay, it is that "Lincoln Experience" I have issues with.

l took my 2017 Ford F150 to Yorkdale Ford for a warranty-required oil change 30 Oct 19, having purchased the vehicle new there in Fall 2017.On 05 Nov 19 l noticed a loud, persistent rattling engine noise when driving the vehicle 'cold': the engine oil gauge showed normal range and the noise disappeared after 20 minutes use. It reappeared each time l used the vehicle ie 4 times during the day06 Nov 19. Same issues but louder and longer duration engine noise, same oil gauge reading. l called Yorkdale to get vehicle examined but it took 6 calls to make a booking (line busy or unanswered). Finally made booking for 12 Nov 10While driving the vehicle later in the day, the gauge oil gauge dropped to zero oil pressure and the loud engine noise got louder and more persistent. When l got the vehicle home 10 minutes later, l checked the engine oil using the dipstick: The oil dipstick was 'bone-dry'. l immediately called Yorkdale, updated the service manager about the lack of oil on the dipstick and zero gauge pressure and was told by the service manager to drive the truck directly to Yorkdale, a 20 minute drive. When l reiterated the apparent lack of oil in engine, zero gauge pressure and loud engine noise and fearful of engine damage, l was again directed to drive the truck immediately to YorkdaleUpon arrival, the service manager brought the truck in for an inspection. Twenty minutes later he told me that an O-ring on the plastic oil drain plug had failed and he would add oil and l would be 'on my way'. I asked him how this failed O-ring was related to the zero oil pressure gauge, zero oil on the dipstick and the loud rattling engine noise and whether the engine had suffered oil starvation issues. At this point he just 'blew me off'…ie l should have no concerns about the engine.I then asked to speak to his service manager supervisor as l considered the service manager to discourteous as well as not addressing my questions about engine damage.The supervisor came out with the oil drain plug, showed me the O-ring failure and told me it was being replaced, and any 'missing' oil was going 'topped up'. When l asked about oil-starvation and engine damage issues, he directed me to accompany a mechanic on a test drive to determine if the noise/gauge issue was addressed.The mechanic told me he had added two litres of oil and l asked why this was needed: he told me because engine oil leaked past the O-ring. I asked about the intermittent oil pressure readings: why would it read 'normal range' then zero pressure and then back and forth. I did not receive a clear answer. Ditto on why an engine purported to have 4 of 6 litres of oil in the engine would show zero oil on the dip stick. However he confirmed that the engine may have sustained oil-starvation damage, but l should not worry as l had 45k left on my engine warranty. He had thought the loud persistent engine rattling was cam chain tensioners….my original thought as wellThe service manager supervisor confirmed the same solution ie l had 45km to file a damage claim on the engine due to oil-starvation issues but that the vehicle was safe to drive.I directed him that l wanted Yorkdale Ford to ensure that the zero oil gauge pressure, loud engine noise and zero oil on the dipstick was noted in the service file. When we checked, none of this information had been recorded by the original service manager.Bottom line: no culpability on behalf of Yorkdale Ford for the oil plug O-ring failure, despite Yorkdale doing the work. No plausible explanation why an engine with purportedly 66% of the oil required in the truck showed intermittent gauge readings ie normal to zero and back to normal, loud engine noise and zero oil on the dipstick. And l only have it on Yorkdale Ford's 'word' that they only put two litres of oil in the engine and if the engine fails before my 100k warranty period, the engine will be replaced. No offer to confirm any engine damage.Last but not least, l found the initial service manager unprofessional and dismissive.

Edit:You want more details, here it is.My girlfriend called the service department at your location because she was having rattling issues with her Ford Fiesta. The person on the other line told her to bring her vehicle in on a certain day at 8:30 or 9am. the exact day and precise time i cannot remember since it's been weeks now. the appointment was set and the location date and time was confirmed. When the day finally arrived, we went there and were told that my girlfriend has no appointment. We both had to plan our day and take time off work, only for this to happen. No apology, no sympathy, nothing. It was even more infuriating given that time was wasted in not looking for other places to diagnose and fix her vehicle, during the time between the. phone call and the day of our "appointment".

I had purchased Ford Escape Titanium 2019 and very frustrated since I called this branch 4x times and even left a message but nobody get back to me. Believed it or not I just want to purchase an additional insurance coverage for my car and want several questions unfortunately no one is interested!So very upset, Im now thinking of returning the car since it just bought four months ago! Been bringing my mustang in for service every 10-15km. When I bring up an issue with my camera in February they ok my car say it is fine. Now I bring it up again, and they tell me it is out of warranty. Car is still under lease. I’ve had to reschedule my appointment 3 times. Service manager was rude. Did not solve the issue. We have a company that owns 3 fords cars/trucks. Extremely disappointed at how they treat a long time serious customer looking to spend another $20,000 next month and buy this same vehicle...Update: did some research online and found this was a common issue. When I rolled back the sleeve found the wires were pinched too tightly from factory by the end of the plastic sleeve and strap causing these thin wires to tear. Makes sense why With heat this was getting out of control. If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only did I have to find the issue myself. It was a factory mistake that isn’t being recalled because it doesn’t directly affect safety. Bunch of losers at this location. I’ve taken pristine care of my mustang. Once I buy out my car I’m never coming back to this dealership again. 👎🏽🤮

My dad purchased some mustang mats for his 2016 GT. he did not use them, and the mats are brand new and still in the box. Called to see if we could return them, but was denied the return, they say because they got it from another dealer, and quote " they are basically garbage to us" this is what the manager told me. (note, not sure if it is the manager for the entire dealer or just the parts manager.) the issue is, we have purchased 2 new cars from this dealer, and 2 new mustangs from ford in the past 4 years. I think they should accommodate customers, specially those who give them business.

You know what’s warm leads and cold calls 😒 I came there, as a warm client and told them I was going to buy a car. They gave me 2 options, witch I didn’t like, and when I did not agree on them they stated that I’m just not ready to buy a car. Same month I went and got it at the other dealer. My opinion this place won’t give you a good deal.

Dear all, I bought 2011 ford fusion last year at this place, that is used car this place from the customer service to service centre people are very roote and mean. the person who sold the car to me, she ripe me off. she charged me 17.5% interest and the car has had problem all ready but still sold as it is. this car missing all sensor and seats are broken, i found them after they sold it to me. I know i have credit problem not in worst case and why she sold second hand car instead of sell new one?, new one always low interest but she sold it second what kind of customer care. Please if you want to buy a car DON'T CHOOSE THIS PLACE; NOW UP TO YOU. I all ready have the experienced, you still want to choose this place. I hope who ever read my message and you will have better place to choose. That is my goal. Still I can't forget this Yorkdale ford what they done to me. Good luck every one. It is the best customer service I have experience at any car dealership. Customer service staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. They were very considerate and accommodated my last minute urgent request.Service center has a Lincoln lounge with free Wi-Fi, desktop, coffee, snacks. It was very quite and comfortable to work and make phone calls from the lounge.Customer service fixed my tire leak for free as a courtesy.I would recommend this dealership even it is far from your area. The drive will be worth it for sure.

Our experience at Yorkdale Ford was all positive. We dealt with Erick for our Explorer Sport. We waisted time at other dealerships trying to get a fair deal for our trade-in, but could get close to a figure we liked. It took Erick about 20 mins to appraise and give us what we thought was fair value for our 2017 Escape Titanium. We agreed to a deal quickly, and when we went to pick up our vehicle, the monthly payments were actually lower than what we agreed to. We'll definitely be going back to him for any future vehicle needs.Thanks again Erick.

My 2012 Ford Focus needs to get its purge valve and catalytic converter done. Chelvin was very helpful and told me that I really need to get the purge valve done now but the catalytic converter can wait. I appreciate his candor.

Great staff, great service. I went in to the dealership while I was waiting to meet someone at a nearby dealership. They managed to win over my business.Worked with Erick who helped me get a car within my budget while placing me in a much bigger vehicle. I think I got a great deal from these guys. Very helpful throughout the process and made everything very smooth.The business manager Taylor was also very helpful and managed to get all the paperwork done in a very efficient manner.Looking forward to going in there for my service!

I was entertaining the idea of buying a new Ford Fusion Energy. I called them yesterday and spoke with Eric on the phone. I mentioned a several features that I would like to have in the car. He said he has just the car I was asking for. He asked me to come for a test drive the next day. So I went all the way to yorkdale from downtown today.1. He showed me the car and it didn’t have the options I asked for(adaptive cruise control). It was disappointing that I was misinformed by a dealership that doesn’t pay attention to detail when it comes to customer service.2. But I didn’t show my disappointment and took it as a genuine mistake. So I mentioned that the options i asked for are not present. Then I said “can we go for a test drive?”. He immediately said that he doesn’t wanna give me a test drive, because he knows that I’m not buying. His ego came into the scene and said “I sell cars for living and I don’t make money if I don’t sell cars and I know you are not buying this”. I was shocked and also at the same time realized how inexperienced he is in sales. I actually wanted to make him understand the mistake he did. So I said to him if you have let me go for a test drive, I may or may not buy this. But If I feel Ford is the right car for me from the test drive, I may come back and buy another car with all the options I need. Or I might just fall in love with how this car drives and end up buying it. He totally ruined the whole experience and I was so disappointed in how short term are his business plans. At the end of the conversation, he finally decided to give me a test drive. But I already had lost my interest in doing any kind of business with him. So I respectfully refused.I just wanna say to Eric, money doesn’t lead. Money follows. I still wanna buy a Ford Fusion. But definitely not from Yorkdale Ford. It was a waste of my time.

HiAnyone who want to finance a car or lease a car. please be very careful. Read all the papers very carefully and if you don't understand anything or if you have a lawyer go with him/ her. I lease a car and its turn to finance. Please don't go with the nice talk and beautiful faces because at the end of it all, you have pay for it. Now I am facing challenges. Please listen me very carefully. A third party with much understanding of purchase a car with bank loan will be much appreciated to go with you. Thank you

Horrible experience with the general manager Jim Hamilton. Brand new car as of jan 2018. Have had to have the car in for service twice based on technical issues. Rather than making me feel looked after and satisfied, I was left to deal with an individual who had no respect for females or customer service in general. He has been reported to Lincoln Canada based on two inappropriate emails. My attempt to address the matter was met with such a condescendence.I have still yet to have the matter of the car deficit addressed. I would stay clear of that particular dealership from a service perspective.

I visited Yorkdale Ford a few weeks ago and was appalled to see that they still use the type of bullying techniques you see from car salesmen in movies. I sadly can't remember the name of the horrible customer service rep I spoke to, but I remember that he was condescending and mean. First, he told me that he wouldn't talk to me about prices unless I PROMISED to buy a car that morning, then he tried to convince me to sign a lease without even seeing the car, and finally, he yelled at me and grabbed the papers out of my hand when I said I was going to talk to my husband before signing. I assume he treated me especially poorly because I was a young woman in the dealership alone, but even if you're not in that situation, I would never trust this dealership. I would give them negative stars if it was an option.

I visited this location looking for some help in buying my New F150 and this lady was far from help, she make everything seems impossible for me.I have great credit report excellent income as a contractor and I have all the documentation require but Zulia is not what she advertise on the Compra y Venta( Spanish newspaper) she was rude she left me on her office waiting for 44 min alone and I saw her taking care of other customers, she came back to me and toll me F150 was a bit too expensive for me I should look for other option she make feel so bad was clear she did not want to help she actually want me to leave the office so she can take care of other people ,was using her phone during our meeting all the time and was no paying attention to my question extreme bad experience with this lady .Not represent my spanish community

I am very appreciative with Zulia Castellano and Ford for their help and advice in buying my new car. She explained the options I had, and steps I had to take in getting a car. Although I am young , she assured me that I was going to be leaving Ford with a car. I went on a Saturday to speak to her and left on Wednesday with my new Ford Escape. Zulia id very professional and a nice person. I recommend her especially for those who are more comfortable speaking spanish.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. The service dept is only out to get your hard earned money without any care regarding you or your vehicle. I had paid and scheduled a late pick up, after hours and requested my keys be locked in the truck and was told it would be done immediately. I found out at 10pm when I arrived that my truck was behind the fence inaccessible. I had to Uber back in the morning, being late for work and not only did no one care, I had grease and oil all over my cloth armrest. I spoke to the service manager about both issues and was simply told "sorry things happen"!! No offer to clean or anything. Even after 2 emails to the gm of the dealership and a week later, not a single word from anyone. See you later Yorkdale Ford!!! Spend your time and money elsewhere!

Erick and Ali were really great to deal with. They did everything to give the best deal. They can't be beat by any other dealership. I even have a friend who works at an other Ford dealership and when we bought our other car a year ago, even my friend couldn't give me a better deal - and he couldn't give me a better trade-in value either. So now we just go to Yorkdale Ford.The deal we got on our new Escape can't be beat. My sister in-law just bought a Hyundai Tucson complete base model and she is paying more monthly than we are on an Escape SEL loaded with features. Her lease is for the same term as ours. She is kicking herself.

Our experience at Yorkdale Ford/Lincoln has been a great experience over the last 4 years. We originally purchased our Lincoln MKX with Claudio. He was and has been a great guy to deal with -- I would highly recommend dealing with Claudio if you are looking to purchase an new vehicle! I have also had a great experience dealing with Jim and Max, they have always assisted me with questions I might of had and have always been professional. Throughout the 4 years, we have had valet service and maintenance done on our MKX. I will say, the service department has always gone over and above to keep us satisfied! Our experience was positive from the start right up to the end...we will definitely deal with this dealership again!

It's easy to write bad reviews and vent frustration, but this is not a bad review but a warning for those who are looking to purchase here or have work done on your vehicle here. The experience I had a week ago, and have had over the last 4 years with this Service Department is easily the worst Customer Service I've ever experienced. I have never been more humilated in public by someone in a CS role in all my life. I have tried for over a week to get in contact with the General Manager, leaving voice mails, emails, and in a week I've received nothing. Althought I'm sure there are people who work here with integrity, this dealership is not built for long term customer care. They ignore the bad and when someone has a concern they disregard them because it's easier to move on to the next then deal with the issue at hand. This service dept. has single handedly created a stigma around FORD as a company, and I will never again purchase another FORD again. "Take your business elsewhere" is what I was told....Gladly!

Lied to me saying Ford Canada was fixing a problem for the 2015-2017 F 150. Called Ford Canada customer relations and they said they where not aware of the issues, nor were they fixing the problem. So much for been covered under warranty. Thanks Yorkdale Ford for your honestly. Not the first problem with them, definitely the last though.

The positive reviews associated with this dealer (at least the service dept) must have been created by the owners. My experience with their service dept is more consistent with the negative reviews. Told it would be about hour, waited 3 hrs. When the work was completed, there was no explanation of what was actually done.Wanted to have the winter tires switched to my summer tires but was told that the summer tires were too worn so would be better off to replace with new tires. Told them to therefore just leave the winter tires on and I would look to replace them with new ones. When I got home discovered that they had replaced the winter tires with the worn summer tires anyway and was charged for the changeover.In reviewing the bill, I noticed they had overcharged for services previously quoted (e.g. change transmission fluid) When it was pointed out, the service person mumbled some vague excuse. I feel I can't trust any work that's been done on the vehicle - if in fact it was actually done.

First time getting service here for our 2017 Ford Fusion. They managed the appointment process well. I left the car there to get a steering wheel recall fixed and diagnose an airbag light. They resolved the issues efficiently and at no cost in this case. Listen, taking a car in to any dealer is frustrating especially when its a major repair. I did take my car to Ford Yorkdale and at first I was upset that the car broke down and I didn't have a car, etc, but the service coordinator, Anne, was very pleasant to deal with. Very courteous and gave you the straight answer. I car was under warranty and it did take some time to get it fixed but patience is needed, but to get it done right you need to have patience and understand they are doing their best to get it done and get it done right. Great work Anne and keep up the great customer service!

After a horrible experience with a Chevy Iroc-z, I switched to Honda and later, Volkswagen. The vehicles from both were the highest quality and customer service was terrific from both. I had heard that domestic vehicles were much better nowadays so I wanted to do the patriotic thing and looked at Ford when my VW lease was up. I should have been alert when no one answered the phone at sales and the second time I left a voicemail. After not getting a response, I called back but the receptionist (at least she answered) told me no one was available. I had enough. I asked where the next nearest dealer was. I was put on hold and the manager came on and said he would take care of me and he did. A lovely salesperson, Phyllis, got us a great deal on an Edge Titanium. I was pleased. A few weeks later we got a letter saying there was a safety recall but they didn't have the parts yet. We drove the vehicle in trepidation about the airbag recall. After waiting months for word back, we started calling ourselves. Eventually we were told the part was available and made an appointment for the recall and also to fix the CD/Radio which malfunctioned the first week. On the day of the appointment, after waiting for 2 hours 20 minutes in the dingy waiting area, I was told that they didn't have either part and would have to come back! The service advisor said that he would call me the next day. He didn't. I tried to call but once again, no answer. After three tries I left a voicemail. No one called me back! Called again at the end of the week and confirmed that the parts were in and made an appointment for the next week. After waiting another 2 hours 45 minutes, I was informed that the recall was complete but they needed a new part to fix the CD player. Apparently it is another 2 hour+ wait. Today I was told that the part is on backorder for 2 weeks. I'm at a loss for words. Less than 2,000 km on vehicle and I have a really bad taste in my mouth. I expect at least an acceptable customer service effort. But I love the Edge. I'll provide updates good or bad, to be fair.UPDATE: It's been a while since my first review and I have to say, the story is different; very different. After the debacle with the CD and recall, the service department actually came to pick the Edge up, replaced the CD player and brought the car I have grown to love back to me with a smile and a handshake. We recently took the Ford Edge in for the first service and the atmosphere was friendly. The appointment was on time and there was a surprise discount!After my first review, the owner of the dealership personally called and apologized, saying that this was an aberration. I was skeptical. After letting a year go by, I absolutely believe this first experience was not the norm. I'm not the type of person who can be placated by excuses. The reason I am revising my review is because of facts. The dealership is indeed dedicated to Customer Service and I would, and probably will buy my next vehicle there. I didn't give it 5 stars because of my first 1 star experience but if what I have experienced in the last year continues, I will make another update with the 5 stars they earned. If you do have a problem with staff, contact the owner. He is very responsive and takes immediate action. He is an example of what management should be and makes me trust his organization. Bravo!

After two years I had to return my F150 as the lease was up,I wasnt to sure what options I had and had the pleasure to walk in and be seen by Claudio,after talking to Claudio and seeing all my options I decided to lease a new F150 sport,Claudio was very helpful in every aspect of the process,he made the lease return and getting a new lease such a smooth process,very customer oriented me and my mother felt like we were talking to a friend instead of someone who is just trying to sell you something,very patient think we asked the same questions over and over and he always took the time to explain it to us,from answering our emails/phone calls and seeing us in person the experience was awesome,thank you Claudio for all youre help it is very much appreciated.

I went for a simple oil change on my truck on January 9/18 @ 7:30am which was set up a week before.One hour after they started, the service manager FRED called me and said “we damaged your truck”, it fell of the hoist and was told by Fred it was because it’s a bad design by ford...I went with him to the service section to see my truck and it was badly damaged from the fall off the hoist meaning it was not put up and serviced properly by the technician in charge who I found out later was unexperienced and unauthorized to work on a DIESEL truck....I agreed to continue with oil change for now and I asked nicely not to let the same technician continue working on my truck. Their response to me was it’s not my decision and they let the same technician work on my truck...Around 1:00pm I got a call saying my truck is ready.I went to start my truck and was about to leave and at that moment all the interior lights came on notifying me that somethings wrong.I called the service advisor Mark to see what’s going on and at first he came to check and was surprised and then he went to call the service manager but the service manager did not want to come check my truck and said don’t worry the lights will go off alone, letting me leave Ford knowing something was wrong and knowing my truck was not drivable and I could’ve been in danger.I continued my day and went to work driving in a snowstorm -22 to Burlington. After a few minutes of driving the engine power light warning came on the truck and the truck was slowing down and did not pass the 40 km as I was on the highway...The engine shut off and I was stuck for 4 hours with my defective truck on the Hwy that Ford let me leave with saying everything was OK and put my life in danger... A tow truck came and was showing me that I have a residue of a dry white powder on the gas nozzle which belongs to the emission liquid DEF that was put into the GAS TANK instead of putting it in the nozzle of the DEF TANK where it was supposed to go, which was done by the unexperienced technician who wasn’t allowed to work on a diesel truck...The tow truck couldn’t tow my truck because my truck can only be towed by a flat bed tow truck which wasn’t available at that time because of the weather storm condition...After many tries my truck started but didn’t have the engine power and didn’t go over 60 km...Not to mention that in between all this happening, I tried to contact the general manager in charge Jim Hamilton which was on vacation at that time. So I was told I have to wait until Monday when he comes back. I when’s back on Monday to speak with Jim Hamilton and was miss treated by the receptionist. She told me he wasn’t there yet. I left a message with the receptionist for Jim to call me back but I never received a call back. I called again 2 days later to speak to Jim and was told by him that he has to investigate the situation and again wait for a call back. Once again no help... Friday, January 19, I got a call back from the service manager Fred that my truck is ready and still no call back from Jim Hamilton the head manager. We agreed that I will go pick up my truck Saturday morning. I went back to Ford to pick up my truck. I went to check my truck with the service advisor and a bad moment I was in shock. They did a cover of job and thought I wouldn’t notice. The bottom of the truck looked like it was fixed by a butcher. I asked Sheldon the service advisor to speak to Jim because I refused to take my truck in that condition. Sheldon called the Jim and Jim’s response was “I can’t see him right now I wasn’t expecting him” and did not come out to see me. I left the dealership leaving Jim a message to please call me back ASAP. Again I was being ignored, not helped in the series situation... after I left I called Jim the general manager once again and he answered and again I understood I will not get help from him.It’s not humanly normal what happened. They destroyed my vehicle 2017 Ford Transit E350 Diesel, 6 months old which are used to feed my family....

I have leased my past two vehicles from Yorkdale Ford. I have dealt with Max Rebboh and Gary Wener. I have always had very positive experiences with Max and Gary. Max knew that I was unhappy with my Ford Focus and wanted to trade it in for a Ford Escape. Max went above and beyond to make this possible for me. Max was very patient and understanding as I made my decision. He wanted to ensure that I would be satisfied. Gary came in on his day off to acquaint me with the features of my new vehicle. I will only go to Yorkdale Ford for future car leases. My dad has been a costumer with Yorkdale Ford for may years and this is why I am very confident in their services and will continue to lease my cars at Yorkdale Ford.

I had been searching online for a Ford Explorer when I came across a particular one that fit all of my needs and wants on Yorkdale Ford's website. I called the dealership to obtain some more information including how I would go about trading in my existing Ford Edge. Andy was able to help me immediately, answered all of my questions and ended up finalizing purchase details with me that same day. Andy introduced me to Lisa who was able to help with our purchase as well, Lisa was quick, friendly, easy to talk with and efficient. Throughout the next couple of days Andy kept me informed every step of the way while my vehicle was being prepared for me to pick it up. I am sorry to say that I am a member of that cohort of women car owners who know little about the mechanical components of cars beyond the most rudimentary information. I have used this dealership for many, many years and they have come through for me so many times. The Service department has provided prompt service, great explanations and guidance where necessary. I particularly appreciate having women customer service advisors, with Anne being my current "go to" person.I have twice bought a used car here from Sales. When I bought my current car a few years ago I didn't hesitate to take my (then) Service rep's advice and see Arash in Sales. We worked together for a few weeks until he found the right car for me. No pressure sales, just great support.I don't hesitate to recommend this dealership to my women friends who are quite uncomfortable with taking their cars to 'THE GARAGE" for whatever reason.

I brought F-150 for diagnostics yesterday, as my engine was misfiring. Verdict of "diagnostic experts": change vcts, change chain, tensioner, etc, - all-in-all - mere $4,700+hst. This took us by surprise, as we change the engine just a year ago, so we decided to have another look ourselves. In reality, a bunch of wires running from the computer got stuck to manifold, and two wires got burned badly, which was true cause of misfiring. After we fixed the wires ourselves, the engine started working properly. This is not the first time this sort of things happens at Ford dealerships to me. Alex

I brought my vehicle in several times for the same warranty issues. They were never able to figure out the problem. The shop foreman even told me they don't spend a lot of time diagnosing warranty issues cause Ford doesn't pay them to find the problem. They only pay them to fix it. So my explorer wasn't a priority for him. Had my issues fixed around the corner at a small independent shop. I rather pay for it then drive around with the issues. Very disappointed in the service department.

**Updated 4/17** The GM has been very responsive to my complaint. He made sure my summer tires were there this time around and made sure I was comfortable while I waited. He also took off a portion of my bill to make up for the screw-up. I appreciated that he seemed to really care about this issue and I am happy to continue servicing my car with Yorkdale Ford. Overall they have done a really good job with fixing this mistake and I appreciated the first-hand effort made by Jim Hamilton.I sat in the service dep't for THREE hours beside the smelly garbage before the service guy came to me and said that my snowtires were on a truck and it broke down somewhere, "I will call you when we find out where the truck is- IT'S ON US." Two days went by and no word from Ford. So I called them and the tires were there but no one called. They offered valet service where they come and pick up your car for you. Soon someone called and said I had to pay for it. Apparently valet service is what he meant by, "it's on us" (even though they offer this to people for free). I spoke to the service manager again who argued with me for 20 minutes saying I was wrong and it isn't "on them" and he had to bother the service guy on vacation to see what his side of the story was and he said he never said it was on us- guess I just made this up for fun..

They changed my cluthes in November-December.Took my car for more then 2 month. And after a month gave me loaner car.Last month i went there again with clutch problem and they told me i have to wait for another month. And your car is drive-able.I said no its not coz i am the one who is driving everyday.And i need loaner car. They refused me and said u have to wait one month can not do nothing about it and i have to drive with same situation.wow ... what a service

I read so many positive reviews about Yorkdale Ford and when I walked in the experience lived up to the positive reviews! Jess was AMAZING - he took the time to listen to what our needs were and what we were looking for. As we are self employed - he took the time to work with Azad to ensure the financing worked for us. When he called to say he had "our truck" waiting for us that he picked out - it showed he listened to everything we had said becaused it was EXACTLY what we asked for (and even more!) This was the first time we have had a truck and when we picked it up Jess took the time to really explain how all the features worked inside and out (even in the rain) - right down to syncing our phones! Jess even took the time to follow up a few days later to ensure we were still happy and if we had any questions he could answer now that we have been driving it! I highly recommend Yorkdale Ford - everyone we came in contact with from Jess to the finance team to the GM Jim Hamilton really helped - and since picking up the truck I have made sure to tell all my friends to visit Yorkdale Ford!

Excellent Dealership. I recommend seeing Gary if looking for a new or used vehicle.I was in a tight spot and wasn't able to drive my manual transmission vehicle anymore because of knee problems i was suffering. Gary helped me out of the tight situation and into a Ford Fusion SE which i love. He did everything in his power to help me.I went to a couple other dealerships who weren't able to do anything in regards to my situation or they didn't want to. I did a lot of on line research with regards to pricing and models and features. This is my first time leasing a car, I narrowed my search to 3 cars from different manufacturers. I decided to get the Ford Escape base model S. Here is a brief summary of my experience:1. Ali was my sales associate and was very serious and helpful.2. I got the price I was expecting.3. I test drove the vehicle with no issues liked what I drove.4. The process was very clear to me and I felt that Ali was very transparent.5. Nick the financial guy made it possible for me to pick the car up the very next day.6. AFTER I purchased the car, I contacted Ali with some minor concerns, ALL of which are being dealt with to my satisfaction. A true sign of good business conduct.Compared to their neighbor, who would not even send a sales associate over to talk to me despite waiting 15 minutes, Dufferin Ford, and particularly Ali, were great group of people to deal with.

It was a dream come true.The past months I had some changes in my life and needed to get a car. My 2013 for focus engine was Dead, stop running, was frustrated. Called yorkdale ford they was so welcoming, i got my car towed, they took my car in, i waited for about 3 hrs (considering i didnt have an appointment 3 hrs waiting is nothing). They fixed the problem, i was ready to make the payment and they said its all done its under warranty, and i paid zero. I am very happy not because i didnt have to pay, because they were very accomodating, before they brought my car in, the service manager himself check to figure out the problem with my car. With a great and honest service they provided i would totally coming back and recommend yorkdale ford to anyone i know. Thank You Yorkdale ford, please keep your great service running!!!

Weird experience. I purchased a 2014 Escape S from Yonge-Steeles for and received a lifetime of free oil changes. Unfortunately an oil change there takes the better part of the day - almost 3 hours. I decided to call Yorkdale Ford to find out what the actual price of an oil change for my vehicle would be. I was told it starts at $39.95. I asked specifically what the price for my model Escape would be, to which I was asked "how many litres of oil does it take" I'm figuring this is something a Ford dealer would and should know. At the end of the call I received a ballpark price of about $58.00. I'm still in limbo because I heard the 2013's took synthetic but the 2014's took regular or a synthetic blend. I'm just really baffled a Ford service facility couldn't answer a question regarding their brand of vehicle.

Years ago, my colleague referred me to Frank Gucciardi when I was struggling to buy my first car. Frank is very experienced and knowledgeable, but mostly Frank is a very honest and trustworthy businessman who you can depend on and trust. Frank helped me buy my first car. I came to Yorkdale Ford simply because it's our neighbourhood Ford dealership. I was looking to upgrade my SUV from entry level to midsize. Phyllis Firestone approached me and made me comfortable right away. I knew I was in good hands. She helped me out with not just the vehicle but also helped me understand the process of what was going on step by step, with the deal.
