Get More from Every Dollar: Why Ford-Approved Winter Packages Deliver Real Value?

Comparing options for the winter season? Explore how Ford approved packages give you greater long-term return and driving confidence vs standard packages.

Performance Feature	Ford-Approved Winter Tire Package	Universal Winter Tire Package
Braking & Stopping Distance	Optimized Stopping Power Tested and verified to minimize stopping distance on ice and snow.	Standard Stopping Power Adequate winter stopping distance; performance varies by vehicle weight and chassis setup.
ABS & Stability Calibration	Tuned precisely for Ford traction control, ABS, and Pre-Collision Assist.	Generalized fit; safety systems may intervene more aggressively or unpredictably.
Fit & Wheel Compatibility	Precision Factory Fit Exact hub-centric fitment with zero vibration, preserving suspension and bearing health.	Universal Multi-Fit Often requires adapter rings; risk of micro-vibrations that can cause long-term wear on wheel bearings and suspension components.
Rewards & Value	30,000 FordPass Rewards Points ($150 value) redeemable toward service, maintenance, or accessories.	Standard manufacturer rebates only (no FordPass Points).
